Webinar: How Same Day ACH Impacts ARC, BOC, POP, TEL & WEB Entries
Published: March 30, 2017
Tuesday, May 9, 2017 - 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time
As the industry prepares for same-day debits later this year strong volume is anticipated, particularly as previously unavailable debit-only SEC Codes, such as ARC, BOC, POP, TEL and WEB, become eligible for Same Day ACH transactions. Financial institutions and Originators will want to explore the potential new opportunities available with same-day debits.
With these newly eligible SEC Codes, Originators will have more flexibility in payment types, but ODFIs and RDFIs need to be familiar with the requirements of these applications and how the faster settlement of the items could impact their operations. The availability of ARC, BOC, POP, TEL and WEB as same-day debits allow for increased convenience, but all financial institutions must remain diligent in ensuring their obligations related to these SEC Codes are met.
Expanded availability of these SEC Codes allows for more flexibility for Originators and ODFIs, and could allow RDFIs to address exception items more efficiently.
Join this webinar to learn how to prepare for same-day debits using these newly eligible SEC Codes.
- Understand how the obligations and warranties related to these SEC Codes will not change, but may need to be addressed more quickly;
- The prospective uses for same-day debits;
- How to prevent inadvertent same-day debits;
- What the unique obligations are to the origination of these entry types; and
- How best to communicate with Receivers and Originators.
